It was not surprising at all yesterday when my weigh-in showed a 2 pound gain. I think I got over-confident with my Fat Camp results of 6.8 pounds in 2 weeks. With the help of Kim's new challenge, I hope to lose this and a little more before I have to go back to school on August 6. Kim's challenge goes into October. I'm hoping to lose 10% of my current weight (24 lbs) by the end of the 12 weeks. That seems a bit lofty, but I'll be on my best behavior.
My bad habits this week included (but are not limited to): exercising less than usual, snacking more than usual, eating crap
I WILL be better this week.

Don't let that number on the scale bum you out Kim! You are doing so awesome and I know that you are going to keep your downward trend going!! :)
p.s.
OUR TEAM RULES!
knowing what you did wrong is half the battle!
As Fatinah said, knowing what you did wrong, and what caused the gain is half the battle, the other half just changing those nasty habits and getting back on track, I'm sure the challenge will help with that for sure :)
And I'm on your team on the challenge, we're gonna kick some booooty!
hey hey I just saw your comment on sparkpeople and decided to check out your blog! YAY challenge...our team is gonna kick some major booty!!
Good luck with the 12 week challenge... 24 pounds is a big ask, but do ya best!
It can be done. Just take one week at a time though. Set yourself a goal for that week and kick some butt. Then move onto the next week! If you think 24, 24, 24 - you will just drown yourself. Take care!!
Seeing where you slipped up a bit will help you in the longrun. You can do it! :)
Sorry you had a small gain.. i'm sure you will shake it off pretty quickly!
I've had those bad eating habits too lately..
Good luck with the challenge.. Look forward to reading all of your awesome results!
Hi Kim! Can you please send me your weigh in results from yesterday? I hope that it was a great week for you!!
Thanks!
Aw, that sucks that you had a gain, but at least you recognize why and you're planning to rectify it. It sounds like you've got a good goal. Something "lofty" won't hurt, it'll just keep you striving! Good luck with the challenge.
Take care,
PSG
KL, I have been meaning to tell you, but we are having a party tonight at my house, and you are welcome to attend. (It's my birthday this week, but this is a non-present party.) Our parties are pretty low-key; people usually play board games or party games and talk while they snack and drink. Leave me your email address on veggiepap and I'll email you details if you want to come. :)
