I'm Heading Down the Atlanta Highway

Yep, a week from now I will be returning from a 3-day trip to Savannah, Georgia with approximately 400 8th graders. Pray for me.

We take the kids for a two-night trip ... lots of educational stuff as well as fun stuff.

This week, I gained a little. I knew I would never be able to sustain a seven pound loss. I'm up 2.8 pounds, and I'm totally okay with that.

I got my new school picture and have posted it. What do you think? The biggest difference is when you compare it to my teacher picture from 2005. I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't show a bigger difference from last year's photo, even tough I have lost about 30-35 pounds since then. I see a lot of changes in my body, so maybe that's the big difference this year.

I don't know why it's so fuzzy. It's not fuzzy on my computer. Any tips? Jodi? Any design genius help you can give me?

I'm not out of here until Tuesday morning, but I'll probably only post one more time before I go. I do plan on calling the hotel to find out what the workout situation might be. I'm also going to take a bunch of my own food and try not to go overboard on snacks.

You are crazy! I totally see a difference in your face between your 2006 picture and 2007's. (You look AWESOME, by the way.)

I will pray for you on your adventure with the kids. I know you will have fun, but wow, sounds like a lotta work!

looks like it might be stretching the photo a bit, not sure why it's blurry though... i would make it the same size as the other ones and try again (hard to tell since i can't access your files)...

and you can totally see a difference in the photos - nice work! :o)

I can tell a difference as well. Hope you have a great trip with all of those kids!

God bless you. I took something like 13 8th graders to Charleston with my mom (who's a teacher), and that was enough for me.

Wow! What a nice pic! You look great! And I can tell a big difference! Sometimes I think it's just hard for us to notice a difference in ourselves.

Mabe it is just the lighting or makeup but I think you do actually look quite a bit different coloring wise. You seem to also have just a lot more life in the shot which I am assuming is indicative of a burgeoning confidence? I think you are doing so so well. Keep it up!

hey girl! great pic! i figured out what the problem is. in your template, go to where the picture is. you can do a Ctrl + F and type kim+2007.JPG and it will find where you uploaded that photo to. change the width to '168'. right now its set to 240 and thats not the right size of the pic.

i was an IT/web design major in college. nerd alert, i know. hope that helps!

it should look like this: [ should be a < though. i cant type that here or it might embed something.

[img alt='Teacher Picture Fall 2007' height='240' id='Image9_img' src='http://bp1.blogger.com/_Ul9SOw_G7Dc/RwURW3iz7TI/AAAAAAAAAAc/ewonJ7zjNFs/S240/Kim+2007.JPG' width='168'/]

How'd your trip go? How are ya?

I think the reason the difference isn't as much as you would like is that it is a more flattering pose in the older one, maybe the photographer wasn't quite as good this time?
But I can tell you have lost more! And I think you are looking great. I blame the photographer!

*blog hops to your blog*

HUGE difference, and wow are you pretty, then and now! Losing the weight you have up to now, you must be walking on air.

I have added your blog to my links list, hope you do not mind. Leave me a comment if you think it is ok?
